Lightwire is looking for a growth and account manager to lead some of our most important partner relationships across New Zealand and Australia.

This is not a traditional account management role. It is a strategic growth role focused on expanding partner portfolios, unlocking new revenue opportunities, and positioning Lightwire as the connectivity provider of choice across the channel.

You will work closely with wholesale, reseller, and channel partners to identify new growth pathways, launch joint go-to-market initiatives, and accelerate the adoption of Lightwire’s connectivity and voice solutions.

You will also work alongside a high-performing team passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for partners and customers alike.

What you will do:

Drive partner growth and portfolio value

  • Own and grow a portfolio of wholesale, reseller, and channel partners.

  • Develop and execute account strategies that increase partner share of wallet and expand adoption of Lightwire connectivity and voice services.

  • Identify new revenue opportunities within existing partners and position Lightwire as a core provider within their technology stack.

  • Protect and grow recurring revenue through disciplined portfolio management, proactive risk management, and strong commercial oversight.

Lead commercially

  • Act as the commercial lead and trusted advisor for your partner portfolio.

  • Lead renewal conversations and commercial negotiations with confidence and professionalism.

  • Develop tailored proposals and commercial strategies that deliver sustainable growth while protecting margin.

  • Balance short-term revenue opportunities with long-term portfolio value.

Strengthen strategic partnerships

  • Build strong relationships across executive and operational stakeholders within partner organisations.

  • Lead structured business reviews that focus on insights, performance, and future growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational delivery consistently supports commercial commitments.

  • Contribute to a high-performance commercial culture by sharing insights, supporting teammates, and continuously raising the standard of partner engagement.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in senior business development, account management, B2B2B or channel management within B2B telecommunications or related industries such as IT services or managed service providers.

  • Strong commercial acumen and experience leading renewal negotiations and protecting margin.

  • Demonstrated success delivering recurring revenue growth and partner retention.

  • Confidence building executive-level relationships and influencing strategic outcomes.

  • Highly disciplined in CRM management, pipeline forecasting, and portfolio planning.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.
