About the Opportunity

Mercury Marine is seeking an Apprentice Marine Technician to join our expanding team. Candidates will gain experience in rebuilding and repairing engines as well as boat rigging and testing at our workshop in East Tāmaki, Auckland.

This is a 42 month apprenticeship leading to completion of New Zealand Certificate in Power Boat Systems Servicing and Repair (Technician)

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in boating, water sports or similar activities
• Has a passion for mechanical work
• Enjoys working with new/advanced technology and has a willingness to learn
• Is motivated to complete the apprenticeship
• Has the ability to work well in a team and have good attention to detail
