Auckland Hockey are looking for new staff to join our team during the weekend for the 2026 Hockey Season!  We have a fun, large sport's club environment within Auckland Hockey's Stadium and a supportive and friendly team and great customers. 

We need eager and reliable:

  • Duty Manager

  • Bar/Kitchenhand Staff

We have flexible hours, with weekly rostering. Morning and/or afternoon Shifts available each weekend during opening hours.


Duty Manager:

We're looking for a Duty Manager to join our team and help lead our bar during the hockey season. We have a great team, led by a Bar and Facility Manager as well as other Duty Managers there to help support with training and shift flexibility.  


Current Managers license required. 

Current Duty Manager shift availability includes:

  • Saturday: Opening hours typically from 7:30am to 8-9pm (Shifts split across 2 Duty Managers).

  • Sunday: Opening hours typically from 9am to 7pm. (Shifts split across 2 Duty Managers).

  • occasional weeknight shifts throughout the winter season typically from 3pm-10pm on any given night. (one Duty Manager required)


Bar/Kitchenhand Staff

Great, flexible hours available will suit students or part-timers with Hospitality experience, particularly in food & beverage, looking for a one or two shifts per weekend.

Priority given to those with LCQ and beverage, food handling certification/experience and/or Barista experience.   

Outgoing, confident and friendly people wanted. Fun sports environment with friendly customers and opportunity for regular steady hours throughout the hockey season (May - October). Ad-hoc events throughout the year available too.
