We have the opportunity to join our dynamic national service team as a Field Service Technician in our Tronics Division. We’re looking for an energetic individual who thrives in a diverse work environment, enjoys engaging with clients, and is eager to install, repair, and maintain our innovative products. This position will be based out of our Auckland headquarters.
What you’ll be doing
Deliver effective, timely, and high-quality preventative maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment
Providing technical expertise and support to help customers get the most value from our Coding and customised Labelling solutions
Collaborate with management, sales, and technical teams to enhance service delivery
Maintain accurate records of service activities and comply with all service procedures and processes
Meet designated goals and response times
What we’re looking for
We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in the following areas:
Demonstrated 5 years in a service/maintenance role is preferred, but we welcome applicants with relevant experience
An Electrical License is preferred but not mandatory
Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical and mechanical aptitude
Familiarity with packaging or automated machinery is a plus
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
Willingness to travel to clients in local, rural areas and some interisland travel
Service on call roster is required
A current full NZ driver’s license is required
