With a steady pipeline of work we’re seeking a skilled and motivated Wardrobe Installer to join our team.

About the Role

As a Wardrobe Installer you will be responsible for the accurate, efficient and high-quality installation of Simply Wardrobes’ joinery systems in residential and light commercial settings across Canterbury.

Key Responsibilities include -

  • Installing wardrobes, walk-in systems, sliding doors, and shelving

  • Reading and interpreting plans and specifications accurately

  • Delivering high quality and precise installs

  • Working autonomously or with another installer to complete assigned jobs

  • Representing Simply Wardrobes professionally in clients’ homes

  • Problem-solving on site and ensuring client satisfaction

  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment

  • Assisting in the warehouse or factory when required (e.g assembly, picking, loading, unloading, preparing jobs)

About You

To be successful in this role you offer -

  • Proven experience in wardrobe, carpentry or interior joinery installation is an advantage

  • A methodical approach, including the ability to follow instructions

  • Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality workmanship

  • Strong planning, problem solving and communication skills – you will need to be comfortable working in client’s homes, liaising with home owners, builders or other tradies onsite

  • A high-level enthusiasm and self-motivation, so we can rely on you to uphold and exceed our client’s expectations

The pay rate indicated ($30-33 per hour) is for a competent installer.

If you don’t quite meet these criteria, but you have other relevant experience and you’re eager to get into the industry, we welcome your application too.

 

Essential for this role:

  • Good level of physical fitness, as you may be working alone.  Some heavy lifting required.

  • Full, clean NZ driver’s licence

  • Site Safe Passport desirable, but not essential
