Support Engineer

Logical.IT is a locally owned Managed Service Provider supporting a wide range of businesses across the Wellington, Kapiti and Wairarapa region. We deliver reliable IT solutions, proactive system monitoring, and responsive support. Our team values professionalism, continuous learning, and building strong relationships with our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2-3 support via phone, remote tools, and onsite visits

  • Monitor and maintain customer systems, following Logical.IT standards

  • Log tickets, time, and updates accurately in our job‑logging system

  • Support Microsoft Server, Microsoft 365, networks, and hosted solutions

  • Assist with PC deployments, network upgrades, and project work

  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members

  • Identify opportunities to improve systems or recommend solutions

  • Participate in technical meetings and contribute to ongoing improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in an IT support role (MSP experience is a bonus)

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and general IT support

  • Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, switches, VPN)

  • Familiarity with SaaS, IaaS, and VoIP solutions

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • A self‑starter with strong time‑management and problem‑solving abilities

  • Someone who works well under pressure and contributes positively to a team


Personal Requirements

  • Professional appearance and conduct

  • Current, clean driver’s licence

  • Clear police record

  • Willingness to learn and pursue Microsoft certifications

  • Passion for technology and continuous improvement
