Maintenance & Assessment Technician - Christchurch City
NZD 35 per week
Tech 5 Recruitment is seeking a reliable and professional Property Maintenance & Assessment Technician for an ongoing role based in Christchurch City.
This position has come about due to a significant increase in workload and will continue while demand remains high.
About the Role:
• 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Company vehicle provided – travel between community housing complexes
• Carry out small repairs and maintenance tasks
• Complete condition assessments within occupied homes
• Use technology to log jobs and raise work orders for larger repairs
• Work autonomously while liaising with contractors as required
About You:
• General maintenance background preferred
• Confident using tools and carrying out minor repairs
• Tech-savvy and comfortable raising job orders digitally
• Resilient, trustworthy, and professional
• Able to work independently and maintain strict privacy
• Strong communicator with a proactive approach
• Full driver’s licence (required)
This role requires someone who can work independently, make sound on-site decisions, and maintain professionalism in sensitive environments.
