Netsuite Administrator & Optimisation

Matthews Packaging & Hygiene is a fast-growing New Zealand supplier of packaging and hygiene solutions, servicing businesses nationwide with strong logistics and distribution capabilities. As we continue to scale, NetSuite sits at the core of our operations.

We are seeking an exceptional NetSuite expert to take full ownership of our ERP platform and drive continuous optimisation across the business. This is not a junior support role, we are looking for someone who deeply understands NetSuite and can operate as the internal authority on our ERP environment, ensuring it supports growth, efficiency, and operational excellence.

You will be responsible for the performance, architecture, optimisation, and strategic development of our NetSuite environment. You will work directly with leadership and operational teams to refine workflows, streamline processes, and unlock better data visibility across the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges using NetSuite and wants to make a tangible impact in a growing distribution and logistics-driven business.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the end-to-end administration & optimisation of NetSuite ERP

Design, implement, and optimise workflows, automations, and system configurations

Build and maintain advanced saved searches, dashboards, and business intelligence reporting

Identify and implement process improvements across purchasing, inventory, logistics, finance, and order management

Troubleshoot complex system issues and drive permanent solutions

Manage and optimise system integrations and third-party applications

Lead NetSuite upgrades, testing, and feature adoption

Ensure data integrity, security, and system performance

Develop documentation, best practices, and training for internal teams

Act as the strategic ERP advisor to leadership

We are looking for someone who truly understands NetSuite at a deep level and can confidently manage, optimise, and evolve a production ERP environment.

Required experience:

Proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator or NetSuite ERP Specialist

Advanced expertise in:

• NetSuite configuration

• SuiteFlow

• Saved Searches

• SuiteAnalytics and reporting

• Roles and permissions

• Strong understanding of inventory, distribution, purchasing, and order management workflows

• Experience working with NetSuite integrations and system architecture

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability

• Ability to translate operational business needs into system solutions

Highly desirable:

NetSuite Administrator Certification

SuiteScript knowledge

Experience supporting distribution, wholesale, or logistics-driven businesses

Experience leading ERP optimisation or transformation projects
