Project Coordinator | Fixed Term
The Opportunity
Our Energy & Utilities business is looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of projects across multiple workstreams. This role is central to ensuring jobs are set up accurately, progress smoothly and meet key performance targets.
You'll work closely with operational teams, suppliers and client representatives to manage schedules, documentation, risks, variations and day‑to‑day communication. You'll also play a key role in identifying improvements that enhance performance, increase efficiency and support Downer's commitment to excellence.

What we're looking for
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Financial and commercial awareness, especially around cost capture and invoicing.
- A proactive approach to problem management, escalation and job risk identification.
- The ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, suppliers and clients.
- Flexibility, sound judgement and a willingness to adapt as priorities shift.
- Great attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right first time.
