Class 2 Driver & Supervising Furniture Mover

We are looking for a dependable, steady leader to join our team as a Class 2 Driver and Relocations Supervisor.

You will be relied on to care for our truck, guide your crew, and look after customers during important moments in their lives. Moving house is often stressful for people. We value someone who stays calm, organised, and professional from start to finish.

About the role

• Drive our Class 2 furniture truck safely to and from jobs and depot

• Complete residential and commercial relocations across Wellington and nationwide

• Lead a small crew on site and set the standard for behaviour and work ethic

• Carry out daily truck checks and basic operational checks

• Ensure equipment is loaded, secured, and handled properly

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers

• Take payment on completion of jobs

• Take ownership of each job from start to finish

You will often be the senior person on site. Your consistency and attitude will shape the day. We are looking for someone who leads quietly by example and takes pride in doing things properly.

Requirements

• Full NZ Class 2 licence (for the right person we are willing to sponsor)

• Clean driving record

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling

• Well presented and respectful with customers

• Strong personal accountability

• Comfortable with nationwide travel when required
