New Solutions is a full service IT support provider based in Auckland with business clients across NZ and Australia. Founded in 2013, our philosophy is that we focus on delivering and maintaining the most appropriate solutions for our clients, not on keeping track of how many support hours are left in a contract.
We are a small and very diverse team and enjoy a casual and friendly working environment with a flat management structure (in other words, the owners muck in alongside everyone else). We're pretty easy-going about a lot of things, but we take customer service extremely seriously. Customers come first and if they're not happy, we make sure to change that.
We are experiencing growth and need to carefully expand our team.
About you - our new Systems Engineer
You are a well-presented and conscientious IT professional with good people skills and excellent written and spoken English. You are comfortable dealing with a variety of environments and people, and able to work autonomously as well as know when to ask for (and offer) backup.
This will be a hybrid role (after a period of time) as you’ll divide your time between our Mt Wellington office, client sites, and (when possible) work-from-home.
In terms of qualifications, you have:
Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 (admin console, Intune, Defender, etc).
At least 4 years’ experience in general IT support.
Experience with Windows Server – all versions.
Knowledge of macOS.
Knowledge of Hyper-V.
Knowledge of Veeam.
Ideally, you will also have experience with networking and VOIP.
You will need your own vehicle for making site visits within Auckland, but we will cover petrol costs.
